The Developer Portal provides information about the functional and technical aspects of APIs within Commerzbank. In addition to information about APIs, documentation and support, the Developer Portal allows you to access Commerzbank's APIs in your own applications following registration.
API is the abbreviation for Application Programming Interface and denotes the possibility of accessing data and services of (third-party) applications. The Commerzbank APIs are following REST and enable you to access Commerzbank functions and services. To achieve this, developers integrate the APIs into their source code, which enables them to retrieve and transmit specific, pre-defined data.

An API for non-business purposes is currently not planned. If something changes, we will communicate that.
