How can I request an activation letter for my photoTAN reader / app?
The activation letter is necessary in order to enable the "photoTAN" reader / app. If you have not received a letter or do not have your activation letter, then you can request it in a number of ways.
In the Corporate Banking Portal - photoTAN activated
- Log in to the Corporate Banking Portal.
- Select "Profile & Settings" in the upper-right navigation of the Corporate Banking Portal and click on "photoTAN".
- Click the "Manage" button in the "photoTAN" line.
- Then select "New activation letter".
- Select "Approval with photoTAN" and click "Continue".
- Approve your order with a photoTAN.
In the Corporate Banking Portal - photoTAN not activated
- Log in to the Corporate Banking Portal.
- Select "Profile & Settings" in the upper-right navigation of the Corporate Banking Portal and click on "photoTAN".
- Click the "Manage" button in the "photoTAN" line.
- Then select "New activation letter".
- Select "Approval without photoTAN" and click "Continue".
- Fill inĀ the form and send the printed version to Commerzbank by post.
In the branch
- Visit a branch during theĀ opening hours that has a cash and service area.
- A member of the team will take care of the application for your new activation letter, this will enable you to use the photoTAN process.
Further Information
- If you have previously requested a letter and no longer have it, an order directly via the TAN administration is not possible. Alternatively, you can order by telephone or via the branch.
- When requesting a new activation letter, via the Corporate Banking Portal or in the branch, it will be sent to you by post.
- Keep your activation letter as you will need it if you want to activate the photoTAN app on a new device.
