photoTAN-App: What are common errors?
If there is a technical issue with the photoTAN app, the first step is to delete the photoTAN app from your smartphone. Then download the photoTAN app again from the Apple App Store. Activate the photoTAN app on your device. To activate the photoTAN app you need your activation letter. If you no longer have it, you can request a new activation letter via the Corporate Banking portal. The activation letter is sent by mail.
If you receive an error message in the photoTAN app when executing orders, in most cases this is due to a failed activation process. The following points can help you with the activation process:
- Check if you have already activated photoTAN for the smartphone you are using. If not, perform the activation process.
- You have not yet completed the activation process or have accidentally canceled it? Go to your TAN administration. If you see the "Activate" button next to the "photoTAN" line, click on it and carry out the activation process. If you see the "Manage" button, click on it and then on "Manage devices" and activate your photoTAN app.
- Check if your activation letter is current and valid if your activation graphic is not recognized. If your existing activation letter is not valid, you can request a new activation letter.
- If you receive an error code during activation after entering your login data, enter your login data again manually.
